Meet the Team: Office Coordinator, Jessica Russell

How long have you been with CardioSolution? What did you do before this?

I have been with CardioSolution for 3 years. Before this, I worked at a (plant and gift) mail order company. I started as a customer service agent but was promoted to Quality Monitoring, and then to an Operations Support team member. I have worked in many entry-level healthcare settings and completed courses for Health Technology and Practical Nursing.

What is your role on the admin team and what kinds of things do you do during the workday?

I am the Office Coordinator and I arrange and maintain all of our physician’s housing and transportation. I send itineraries with travel, hospital, and housing information to our physicians before each scheduled assignment. In addition, I create the physician’s work schedules for our Ohio facilities.

When you aren’t at the office, what do you do for fun?

I like to spend time with my family at cookouts or going to the movies. I enjoy taking my dog to the park to walk or to the dog park to play. I also enjoy reading a good book and visiting the Cincinnati Museum Center. My favorite thing to do in the summer is kayak down the river with my family and friends.

Describe yourself in three words!

Dependable, Quirky, Positive

What does your ideal day look like?

My ideal day at CardioSolution would entail arriving to a clean workspace. I would create my task sheet for the day and begin checking off the list, with minimal hiccups.

What is your favorite part of what you do here at CardioSolution?

I enjoy the challenge of the many different tasks that I do. Every day brings something different. I enjoy the relationships that I have built with the physicians and verifying that they have what they need for their assignments.

If you were a Cath Lab RN or Tech, where would your ideal assignment be?

Somewhere near the Sequoia National Forest. I have never been but it is on my bucket list.

Lastly, what advice would you offer a new member of our team of field staff?

Don’t hesitate to reach out for anything that you may need.
